Leicestershire: blacksmith welding courses, Vale of Belvoir

I am a blacksmith who loves to design and create beautiful metalwork. My specialism lies in hot forged metal, manipulated by hammer and anvil, using techniques that have been developed over thousands of years. I temper these traditional techniques with modern metalworking practices to produce a variety of elegant, bespoke pieces.

During my years of training I have both developed a strong affinity with the principles of the Arts and Crafts movement. I am in favour of the ideal that if you make something functional you should make it beautiful. This principle has enabled me to create a variety of objects that are both functional and striking. 

I have a well equipped workshop with facilities to weld with MIG, TIG, stick and gas, also milling, drilling, turning, press work, etc.
