Set in a converted barn on a beautiful orchard, the Ceramic Studio is easily accessible from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Paddock Wood. Our classes are run by experienced, dedicated tutors and class sizes are small to ensure everyone’s needs are met.
The studio is light and airy with a spacious open plan layout. The hand building area is large and well equipped with a slab roller and an extensive collection of pottery tools. There is a good-sized glazing area with a big selection of oxides, slips, gorgeous glazes and spray booth and gun as well as 12 new wheels in the throwing area. We also have an additional self-contained classroom for sculpture and soon other art mediums.
Courses are paid for termly and we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, so contact us with any queries you may have about term dates.
We also run three-hour taster Sessions on Saturdays and Sundays and have just introduced Pottery Experience Days; both a really fun introduction to working with clay.
