Bywater Hotelboat Cruises Ltd runs a traditional motor and butty pair of narrowboats and offers guests the chance to to experience the beautiful canals of England and Wales, with their history and abundant wildlife. We offer a different cruising schedule each year, starting in April.

Gliding through rural scenes and past reminders of busier times, we travel from city to city, taking up to eight guests on cruises of five to ten nights long, all in en suite cabins. The cost of a cruise includes accommodation in single, double or twin cabins, and full board meals. We welcome single guests, couples and groups, and families with children aged above 14.

Some of our guests come to help work the boats, for that authentic narrowboat experience. Others like to walk the tow paths or simply watch the ever changing scene from our comfortable lounges.

It’s a fun and friendly experience, and many of our guests come year after year.
