Yew Tree Cottage Residential Home is a well-established small privately-owned care home owned and managed by husband and wife Graham and Sarah-Jane Ambridge RN based in Chard, Somerset.
We are registered to accommodate up to seven residents in our glorious converted farm cottages with large gardens. The accommodation is tailored to the client’s needs and personalised to their own tastes.
Our ethos is to provide high quality care tailored to the individual in a home from home non-clinical environment.
Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, mainly from the rural community, with varying physical and sensory needs and all have chosen to be at Yew Tree Cottage rather than live alone.
We are a pet friendly care home as we understand the importance pet have in our lives as not only companions but as therapy.
Yew Tree Cottage has undergone the Gold Standard Framework for end of life care training to help their clients end their days as they wish and with dignity and respect.
