Carmarthenshire: making paper from wild and garden plants, Llanarthne

Learn how to make paper from wild or garden plants by doing it in the beautiful surroundings of the National Botanic Garden of Wales. You will cut up plants, cook, make pulp and make sheets of paper in a day. Full instruction sheet provided, along with guidance for your own projects. Take home the paper you have made and use it in your art and crafts or just frame it! No previous experience needed. Make paper with plants from your own garden or from a place with special memories.

What you need: please wear clothes that won’t mind getting wet and bring one or two packets of J cloths and a plastic bag to take your paper home in.

Suitable for ages 14+ unaccompanied. Children 8-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
